Muhlenberg County Sheriff Ricki Allen Passes Away Unexpectedly MUHLENBERG CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Muhlenberg County Sheriff, Ricki Allen, has unexpectedly passed away. A memorial is growing outside of the Muhlenberg County courthouse in memory of the 52-year-old man. Kentucky State Police say Allen died Tuesday morning, and no foul play is suspected.

Allen County Jail Responding to Outbreak of COVID-19
The Allen County Detention Center is battling an outbreak of COVID-19. The jail has had 20 of 58 inmates test positive for COVID-19, along with one staff member. Allen County Judge Executive Dennis Harper said he and his staff are working with the public health department and the dentention center staff on measures to address the issue.
